Guest Registration, Parking and Seating

New York Medical College is committed to making the events and activities of Commencement Week easily navigable to all graduating students and guests. The information listed below should prove helpful when planning for Commencement Week events.

Parking

At Westchester County Center

Both students and guests will be charged an $15 parking fee. Visit the Westchester County Center website for parking lot addresses and more information.

On the NYMC Campus

All graduating students and guests should park at Lot #1 - General BSB Parking at 15 Dana Road. If handicap parking is required, please come to the MEC roadway (Old Farm Road) and public safety officers will direct you.


Guest Accommodations

There are a variety of hotel options for accommodation in the area of New York Medical College. Several can be found on our Lodging section on the About NYMC webpage.


Tickets and Seating

For Westchester County Center

SOM & GSBMS

Each graduate is permitted to have 5 guests attend the commencement ceremony. Seating will be general admission, and tickets will be distributed to students during academic attire pick up. Every guest (over the age of 2) must present a ticket. Students do not need a ticket. Access to the event starts one hour prior to the start time (rain or shine). Extra tickets will be limited. If you need extras, please contact the Office of Medical Student Affairs or the GSBMS Office.

SHSP

Each graduate is permitted to have up to 10 guests attend the commencement ceremony. Students and guests will not need a ticket to enter the venue.
