Evan Schwartz, MSW Intern, is visiting from New York University where he is on track to complete his masters in social work in 2027. Evan has an art and design background, having received his BFA from Pratt Institute and has worked in photography and interior design. His photographic work focuses on gender, identity and relationships.
For the past 10 years, Evan worked as a qualitative researcher, exploring people's behaviors, motivations and feelings in regards to technology and financial products and experiences. He also volunteered at the Trevor Project, counseling LGBTQ+ youth during times of crisis. Evan's work as an artist and researcher has prepared him to study and pursue clinical social work and the human condition. He very much looks forward to getting to know the students at NYMC.
