Roger Chirurgi, M.D., FACEP, has been appointed as the chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at New York Medical College (NYMC). He succeeds Gregory Almond, M.D., M.P.H.’00, M.S.’00, who has served as chair of the Department since 2004.
