Shailesh S. Gardas, Ph.D., M.S., P.T., is a physical therapist, researcher, and educator specializing in neurorehabilitaxtion, motor learning, and translational rehabilitation research. He has extensive experience in clinical practice, academic teaching, and research involving neurological populations, with a particular focus on motor recovery and neuroplasticity in individuals with cerebral palsy.

Dr. Gardas has contributed to and led human-subject research studies and randomized controlled trials using advanced methodologies, including transcranial magnetic stimulation, electroencephalography, functional near-infrared spectroscopy, wearable sensors, and motion analysis techniques. He has authored and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented his work at national and international scientific meetings, including major rehabilitation and pediatric research conferences.

In addition to his research activities, he has mentored students and remains committed to advancing evidence-based rehabilitation practice through research, teaching, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
