Mili Mathew, Ph.D., is a speech-language pathologist and a hand-gesture researcher. Her research focuses on exploring the interplay between linguistic and cultural factors in gesture production. Dr. Mathew is currently investigating the semantic and prosodic relationship between gestures and spoken language and its implications for treatment in persons with aphasia.
