Kyaolin Rajbhandary, M.B.B.S., M.P.A.

Kyaolin Rajbhandary, M.B.B.S., M.P.A., is an international student who started her clinical practice in 2015 just after Nepal Earthquake occurred, working at a private hospital. After her graduation from New York University Wagner, she worked as an associate analyst at Healthcare Strategy at Bullpen, which is a startup telehealth consulting firm researching and analyzing current aspects of the US digital healthcare market. She is currently an emerging healthcare management professional. She played a vital role in facilitating communication among and between hospitals, and private-sector relief funders. She helped reallocate limited financial, logistics, and human resources to resource-strained departments. This experience drew her towards disaster preparedness and public health issues due to the lack of management and guidelines in her country. Going forward during studying her Dr.P.H. program in NYMC, she plans on gaining practical research-based experience from US-based and global health systems to be able to introduce best practices for healthcare management and public health education in Nepal.
