Nilza S. Louis-Jean is a public health professional with over six years of experience in health policy, research, and clinical operations. As a first generation Haitian American women and public health professional, Nilza is dedicated to increasing accessibility amongst marginalized communities through program implementation and revised policies.
Nilza has earned her Masters’ in Public Health (MPH) concentrating in Policy and Management from New York University (NYU) as well as her Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Wellness from Farmingdale State College (FSC).
Nilza starts her journey as a DrPH candidate at New York Medical College (NYMC) in Fall 2025 where she plans to deepen her public health knowledge in order advance into a leadership position that would allow her to pour back into future public health professionals through mentorship, as was done for her.
