Taylor Phillips is pursuing a DrPH in Health Policy and Management at NYMC, with experience in public health research and policy. She currently works as a Consultant at Sellers Dorsey within the Medicaid Finance Department, supporting the development and delivery of client services. She analyzes federal and state healthcare policies, including Medicaid waivers and child welfare systems.

Previously, she worked as a Research Analyst at ECRI, conducting systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and policy evaluation on topics such as Long COVID and veteran mental health. At the University of Chicago, she contributed to research on health disparities by gathering data through surveys, focus groups, and interviews to identify resource gaps among the older adult population on the southside of Chicago.

Taylor’s career goal is to strengthen public health systems through evidence-based research and policy innovation, with a particular focus on improving oral health outcomes and advancing equity in Medicaid populations.
