Yayuan Yan is a DrPH candidate in Health Policy and Management at NYMC. With cross-functional experience in regulatory affairs, sales, and healthcare investment, Yayuan has worked across both U.S. and China healthcare systems. At Becton, Dickinson & Company in Greater China, he collaborated with regulatory, business, and clinical teams to support product development and market entry. His earlier work as a healthcare investment analyst at MSQ Ventures exposed him to global MedTech and biotech markets, shaping his ability to connect commercial strategy with public health outcomes.

Yayuan’s research focuses on the intersection of stakeholder behavior, economic structures, and healthcare policy, with the goal of improving market efficiency while ensuring equitable health outcomes. His work spans projects on health literacy and outbreak prevention with UNICEF, electronic medical record systems in China, and comparative analyses of global COVID-19 responses with China CDC.
