William Assante, M.D., is an attending nephrologist within the WMCHealth network, practicing at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, in New Windsor, and in the renal fellow's clinic in Valhalla. He is passionate about medical education, teaching pre-medical students at Marist College, medical students at NYMC, and residents/fellows at WMC. He recently published an article in the peer-reviewed journal Baylor University Medical Center Proceedings pertaining to diagnosis, management, and outcomes of acute kidney injury in the intensive care setting.
