With more than 20 years of experience in neurology, Fabio Danisi, M.D., joined MidHudson Regional Hospital, in Poughkeepsie, NY, in 2015 as associate director of neurology. He also serves as section chief of movement disorders at Westchester Medical Center.  

Dr. Danisi is active in the field of movement disorders and is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders such as Parkinson's Disease, Essential Tremor, Huntington's, Chorea, Dystonia (including but not limited to spasmodic torticollis, writers' cramp, spasmodic dysphonia, blepharospasm), Tics, and Spasticity.

In addition to pharmacotherapy, Dr. Danisi employs other treatment methods, including botulinum toxin injections, intrathecal baclofen pump management, and Deep Brain Stimulation. He is principal investigator for several clinical research trials in the fields of Parkinson's disease and Dystonia, and has published book chapters and peer-reviewed original articles on these topics.
