A well-recognized general otolaryngologist, Steven Hemmerdinger, M.D., joined the faculty at NYMC, as well as Westchester Medical Center, as an attending physician, after completing his residency training.
As a general otolaryngologist, Dr. Hemmerdinger evaluates patients of all ages from birth through the elderly who suffer from a wide variety of disorders of the ear, nose, and throat. Dr. Hemmerdinger has a keen personal interest in sleep apnea, snoring, and nasal polyps. However, he is also an expert at treating hearing loss, ear and throat infections, facial trauma, as well as most head and neck tumors.
He has been recognized in recent years as a Top Doctor in Westchester County.
Since joining the faculty, Dr. Hemmerdinger has provided education to medical students and otolaryngology residents and continues to devote his time and share his knowledge with those training to be the doctors of the future.
