Shoshana Marmon, M.D., Ph.D., uses data driven approaches to quality improvement (QI) in her research, with a particular focus on the integration of telemedicine to increase access to care. For her work in this area, she was awarded the Ambulatory Care Quality Improvement Award from the NYC Health and Hospitals system, the Innovations in Quality Improvement Award from the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and named an AAD “Patient Care Hero”. Dr. Marmon has published numerous research articles and textbook chapters and is regularly quoted in the media.
