Gerald Matthews, M.D., serves as the site director for the WMC/NYMC Urology Residency Training Program at NYC Health + Hospitals Metropolitan in New York City. Dr. Matthews has served in this role for nearly 20 years. At Metropolitan, Dr. Matthews serves in a leadership role on numerous executive committees and NYC Health + Hospitals corporation councils. He also serves as the director of the Section of Male Reproductive Medicine and Sexual Dysfunction within the Department of Urology at WMC. At the national level, Dr. Matthews has served two terms as a section representative of the New York Section of the American Urologic Association. Dr. Matthews has long been recognized as an expert in his field and has been included among Castle & Connolly Top Doctors in New York annually since 1999.
