As a board-certified radiation oncologist, Nikol Mladkova-Suchy, M.D., currently sees patients with pediatric, hematologic, and gynecologic malignancies at Westchester Medical Center. Her research and clinical interests are deeply rooted in the integration of molecular and epigenetic profiling with cancer therapy, with a strong focus on underrepresented and vulnerable populations, including children and women.

Over the past decade, Dr. Mladkova-Suchy has cultivated a multidisciplinary skillset informed by experiences at leading academic institutions in the United States and Europe. Throughout her training and subsequent career, she has developed and contributed to research projects that span biomarker discovery, AI-driven clinical prediction models, quality metrics in radiation, and global health disparities in cancer care. These efforts have led to multiple presentations at national meetings, as well as impactful publications in Nature Communications, BMC Cancer, and informed further research efforts.

Learning and teaching are her personal passions and joys, and she very much enjoys working with current medical students on research projects or in the clinic and considers it a privilege to learn from her colleagues either in the research or clinical realm, and from our patients. This allows her to offer the best care possible with compassion and competence, while enjoying the partnership with her patients.
