Stephen Pan, M.D., M.S., joined the faculty at New York Medical College and the Division of Cardiology at Westchester Medical Center (WMC) in 2019 from NYU Langone Health, where he was the co-director of the Cardiac Sarcoidosis Program.

As director of the Infiltrative Cardiomyopathy Program at WMC, Dr. Pan is passionate about helping people with heart muscle diseases, especially those with infiltrative diseases of the heart, including cardiac amyloidosis and sarcoidosis, as well as those affected by inherited (genetic) diseases of the heart, such as familial cardiomyopathy. As a heart failure and transplant cardiologist, he is also heavily involved in the heart transplant and mechanical circulatory support programs.

He has and continues to conduct research involving clinical trials in cardiovascular genetics, novel heart failure therapeutics, heart recovery after ventricular assist devices, and infiltrative diseases of the heart.
