Timothy Ryntz, M.D., serves as chief of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and complex family planning at Westchester Medical Center. With over two decades of experience, Dr. Ryntz is a recognized leader in advanced gynecologic surgery and reproductive health. He is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology with subspecialty certification in complex family planning and a focused practice designation in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
His surgical expertise includes da Vinci robotic surgery, Nexplanon insertion, and Sonata transcervical fibroid ablation, with a commitment to innovation in minimally invasive techniques. He has lectured at leading medical institutions, including Columbia University, Harvard Medical School, and New York Medical College, and has presented nationally on topics such as abnormal uterine bleeding and second-trimester abortion care.
In addition to his clinical and academic leadership, Dr. Ryntz is a dedicated mentor to medical students and residents, deeply committed to advancing patient-centered care through education, collaboration, and continuous professional development.
